If you ask my kids if they are excited school is out, they tell ya NO. They loved attending schoold each day. Well give a few times for my princess who loves her sleep..haha. So nice their excitement for school. I hope it continues for the rest of their school lives.
My big boi J*Rock has completed his elementary school days. Yesterday (6/8/09) was his promotion from North Star Elementary. It was a wonderful program and it was exciting to see the big smile on his and his classmates faces as they received their certificate of acheivement. This year was the first they decided to throw a dinner/dance for the 6th graders. He had a good time and said they had a dance competition between the boys and girls. And of course the boys won. Yeah right!! LOL. So now on to his next step in life..Jr High School. Here are just some of the things he will miss about elementary:
- His friends he's made..as he'll be attending school outside the district.
- Recess
- All of his favorite teachers
- Playing bball against the teachers
- His PE class
The Princess of the family just finished up her 1st grade year. She has been an excellent student and has learned alot this year. She enjoyed her teacher and friends she has made this year. She too will be attending a new school next year and will miss the friends she has made. Hopefully this school will be the one as she has had a new school every school year. Here are some of her favorites from this year:
- She loved spelling time
- Playing on the playground
- Art and coloring
- Birthdays are fun cause of treats
- Math
My kids have had a good school year. I thank all the teachers and staff that have helped in teaching my kids. Much appreciated. Now on to the summer fun.....YAY!!!!!
