And the winner is...

Foi, His Trainer and the lil miss DaisyGirl

Drumroll please..........TEAM SEXY!!!  Yay yay yay...Hip Hip Hooray!  Team Sexy came out on top losing the most on the group.  Total weight lost of 55 lbs in the 60 day challenge.  We got to be there for his final weigh in.  All the participants spent all morning there for the different segments with Big Budah.  I decided to show up just in time for the weigh in.  Me and DaisyGirl were there to support.  As well as other family members of the other participants.  Golds Gym was busy crazy that day.  I got to see firsthand how Budah works.  He's a natural and good at it.  I tried my hardest to dodge having to talk to him on camera.  Didn't work.  I still haven't seen the clip and don't care for it...hahaha.  I'm sooo proud of my husband.  He really wanted this and did his best to come out victorious.  It really has been an awesome journey and he's learned alot.  He feels good physically and wants that feeling to stay forever.  I told him, he'll now have to train our family so that we can all be healthy and enjoy a happy life together.  So with all this...we are going to SAN DIEGO...woohoo!!!!  We're soooo excited.  Haven't yet decided when we'll go.  I'm thinking we'll save it for sometime in the winter.  Its already a crazy busy summer.  Now that that part is over, we are preparing for the Sizzler 5k that they all we be participating in.  June 12 in Happy Valley.  So if you're there, you just may see us.. Or not, cause we'll be pulling up when everything has been cleaned up and everyone has gone home...hahaha.  Go Team Sexy!!!!  Thanks everyone for the support and love.  Here's to a happy healthy life..

Bountiful Bombers

Spring Softball 2010 has come to an END!  Boy has it been a long long long season.  We've enjoyed it much but won't be missing the long drives to Bountiful and Woodscross for team games.  Team Bombers did very well taking 1st place in the 8U division.  YAY.  UNDEFEATED..Way to go girls.  We love our team.  Most of our girls will have a one week break and then on to All-Stars we go.  More SOFTBALL for us.  But this time, we'll be practicing in Rose Park so the drive won't be bad.  Thank you ladies for such an awesome season!!!

Another 3

Lucky number 3 it is this week for Team Sexy.  And still on top.  YAY!!!  Bringing total weight loss to 46.4 pounds.  Great job.  Next weigh in will be next Tuesday 5/25.  Then the finale on Thursday 5/27.  They changed it from June 1st so that everyone can enjoy the Memorial weekend.  I think...hahahaha.  Well thats what my DHs said..of course!  Team Sexy has been slacking on the whole eating and working out part but is doing alot better than before this experience.  He knows if he eats bad, he's gotta put in extra in the gym.  Thats a good mentality to have.  I've been trying my best to help him along.  Its been hard when we have a busy day and no time to cook a healthy meal.  Which has been alot more lately.  One more week to go for Team Sexy..  I hope to be going to San Diego in the future...hahaha!!

In NEW YORK...

Me riding shotgun in our taxi!!
IN NEW YORK..
..there are tons of people.  People of many different ethnicity.  Speaking many different languages.  Alot of different types of accents.  Alot of European decent..  Alot of arabic decent..  We were hawaiians..no one knew what Samoan or Tongan was...LOL  It was interesting.
..there are tons of cars.  Well mostly transportation cars.  Like the Taxi Cab.  My kids would have a hay day playing bingo in NY...hahaha.  (Call bingo and a punch for every yellow car haha).  And they drive fast.  Even the buses.  hahaha.  Got to experience the monterail (from jersey to ny) the most relaxing of all of them.., subway --dark and dreary and boy we still had to walk alot to get to it..hehe, taxi -- most scariest of them all.  fast driver and all..  and then the bus.  Fun!! Ha!!  BTW, every time they said, lets find the subway, at first I was thinking Subway Sandwich shop...Not the subway underground...hahaha  Yes, true Fob or true west coast chicc haha
..even with all the transportation, we walked alot..I mean ALOT.  I think we walked about 5000000000 miles.  Hahaha  Well at least to me if felt that way.  First trip ever where I probably lost some weight...hahaha  Just a dreamer LOL!!!
..there are tons and tons of TALL building.  Sky-scrapers galore.  Couldn't phathom how tall the Twin Towers were being there standing where they stood.  All the buildings there now are already sooooo TALL.  And then the busy crowd going to and from.  Wow...I could only imagine the sadness and craziness of 9/11 with all the tall buildings and people galore.
..everyone is HUSTLING trying to make that paypuh.  From food to jewelry to purses to perfume/cologne to shades to ticket shows and tours, everything.  One guy was even trying to get his hustle on with a pack of cigarette.. Walking up and down the street trying to get that dolla dolla.  Even had a group of kids who did tricks for the crowd to get paid.  And it was a big crowd right there in the middle of Times Square.  Wasn't even all that but I bet they made bookoo bucks for it..haha  It was definitely something different.
..everything is expensive.  Unless you get your own hustle on and talk 'em down to your price.  On Canal St that is...hahaha  Everywhere else, is expensive.
..Times Square is definitely what it is on TV.  I loved the craziness.  I loved the crowd of people.  Well not loved..I tolerated the crowd of people.  I loved all the flashing lights.  All the big flashing bill boards.  All the noise from the honking fast driving taxi drivers.  Sitting in the middle of Times Square and taking it all in....Amazing!!
..the history of NY is fascinating.  From the immigrants who settled in NY.  The Empire State building.  The Statue of Liberty.  The Financial district.  Brooklyn Bridge.  Everything was amazing..
..got go everywhere but central park...hehehe  I really wanted to go there..fo'reals!!!  Its probably just your normal park..  But hello its Central Park.  Guess for now I'll settle for being able to go to Battery Park..haha.
..it definitely was an amazing trip.  We got to see alot in the couple days we were there.  Dream come true for me.  Definitely will have to go back and do it all again with my husband.  I talked nonstop all day when I got back about my whole experience.
..we had a little incident with some impatient guy who felt we were taking too long getting our ticket for the subway.....hahaha.  Like SLOW DOWN and smell the COFFEE dude..haha  But after it all..I thought he actually was trying to be polite but just the way he came at us didn't sound polite.  In the end, we didn't get mugged and went on about our day LOL..
I HEART NEW YORK and I HEART my BFF who made it all happen.  So nice to be able to enjoy a lil mini vaca with my girls...  Love these ladies to death!!!

Down 3.5 this week..

That's Team Sexy's accomplishment this week.  He's starting to slack off a bit but not too bad.  He's still doing his daily work outs most of the time.  This week his knee was once again bothering him and set him back a couple of days.  I need to just call up his doctor and get him in there to see him.  You'd think that since he's changed his eating habits that his gout would get better.  Not seeing that yet.  Well I guess it is alot better than before.  I'll need to have patience and just pray his weight lost and change in life will cure his gout FOR GOOD.  It looks to be the worst pain ever.  Anyhoo, he lost 3.5 lbs this week.  Bringing his total weight lost to 43 pounds.  That is awesome.  He has exactly 16 more days left in the challenge.  Thursday May 27th will be his final weigh in.  He is determined to kick butt these last few weeks.  I hope I can too...hehehe.  Go Team Sexy!!!

Mother's Day

Of all weekends to be sick…ugh. Happy Mother’s Day to me feeling sick and in bed. I am one to never get sick. I guess its true when they say ‘Never say Never’. I had a fever, the chills and my body ached. No fun for me. Missed our ward Mother’s Day Party.. Even missed feeling the spirit and listening to the Mother’s Day program on Sunday. But all was well since my husband and children tried their best to make sure I had all that I needed. I did finally feel better and Sunday went out to brunch with the hubby while the kids were in church with gma & gpa..hehe. So sneaky we are. Family dinner was the bomb.com. Enjoying the day with the family is always the best.

I truly am grateful for the calling to be a mother. I love the feelings my children make me feel. Whether happy or sad. Thank you babies for allowing me to be your mother.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you ladies out there…

My girlfriends and I will be headed out this week for our Mother's Day getaway...I soo can not wait!!!

Mother's that I love...

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mother. The woman who molded me into the person I am today. Thank you for being such a great mother to me. You are truly a great example of what a mother should be. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. I love you mom.
My mother had help in raising me. Being the eldest grandchild on her side of the family, she really had no choice but to share me with her Mom and sisters. My grandmother is the greatest woman I know. She is strong and kept our family together. She was stern but also so loving. There is not a day I don’t think of my grandmother. RIL G’ma.

I truly have been blessed with the best aunties who have been great support to me and my family. I can always count on them. They will drop what they are doing in no time to help my family and any of my siblings and cousins. They are there to listen to and give advise when need be. They’ll come out to support my children in anything. I love the many yummy meals they’ll willing share with us when we just show up in their homes. I love my aunties.
And then there are my sisters. My world would be lost without my sisters. I love all our memories together. 2 of them are not yet mothers but still play a big part in raising their nieces and nephews and I thank you both for that. You all have great qualities that I admire. And our family is strong because of the strength of my sisters.

I have many cousins and friends and also the women in my husbands family that have been great motherly examples to me. Know that I love you all and appreciate you. Hope that this Mother’s Day was a special one for you. I love you all dearly.

“Special shout out to my Mother-In-Law who celebrates in heaven. Happy Mothers Day Siva!!!”

ONE Pound Week!!

Yep, that was Team Sexy today. Lost 1 lb taking him to 297. One pound is huge for me, but for him and his expectations, it was a disappointment. Oh well..you win some, you lose some. He didn’t gain so that’s a big achievement. He worked out twice this past week. He told his trainer he had to leave out of town for a funeral....cough cough. Hmmm…He did have a family funeral. But he didn’t go....Terrible!! His trainer done busted him out live on TV…Hahahha. He wasn’t expecting that..LOL. And I know Big Budah won’t let him live that down…hahaha. No good!! Anyhoo He vowed to not let a week like last week happen again. I believe him. Still proud of him and his ONE pound.  Hehehe.  He has 3 weeks to go.  Go TEAM SEXY!!!!

I Have A Testimony...

So today in sacrament meeting Daisy and Luse were both called up by their uncle 2nd counselor to the bishop Jr Solovi. He told everyone of their baptism yesterday and as a ward we sustained them both as new members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also told them that they would be the first to share their testimonies. How nerve wrecking..hehe. I’m glad we took the time to talk about our testimonies and talk about what we share in our testimonies. Talked about what we believe and feel. It was her first time standing in front of the congregation to share her testimony. A testimony that is just blooming. I’m grateful that she has been taught by great primary leaders and teachers about the gospel. By us as her parents. And all those who have shared their testimonies with her.  And that she has grasped what a testimony is. She shared of her happiness of being baptized and being a member of the true church. She thanked her daddy for baptizing her. She thanked her families and friends for the support. Expressed her love for our living Father and Savoir Jesus Christ. About the scriptures being the words of God. That Thomas S Monson is true prophet of God. I was truly touched by her testimony. And for her sweet spirit she brings into our family. It really is a special feeling to see my children share their testimony and hope and pray they will always feel inspired to share it often.

Being EIGHT is great!!

Our day began really early.  5am to be exact.  We got up to prepare and make sure all was ready for babygirls baptism.  Got the family ready and packed for the day.  We prepared a simple lunch for our family and friends and didn't want to forget anything.  Got to the chapel an hour early to set up.  Baptism began at 9am.
The baptism was spiritually uplifting.  Hearing the talks and music.  My son spoke on the 'The Gift of the Holy Ghost".  My kids along with my Tapusoa nieces and nephew sang "I am A Child of God" remix that my DH's cousin Jr Mulitalo wrote.  I love seeing lil children participate in the program.  I couldn't help buy smile and cry seeing my husband baptize and confirm Daisy today.  It really is a blessing to have the priesthood in our family.
Daisy girl was excited for her day.  She loved seeing her family and friends there for her special day.  Luse was also baptized with her.  The both just looked happy.  I pray that they'll always remember this day and know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves them.  That they recognize and listen to the promptings of the spirit and try their best to do good always.

In a haste to get everything ready for lunch, I didn't get any pictures.  Boo me.  Here are some of the girls before the baptism with some of the family.
