I Have A Testimony...
So today in sacrament meeting Daisy and Luse were both called up by their uncle 2nd counselor to the bishop Jr Solovi. He told everyone of their baptism yesterday and as a ward we sustained them both as new members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also told them that they would be the first to share their testimonies. How nerve wrecking..hehe. I’m glad we took the time to talk about our testimonies and talk about what we share in our testimonies. Talked about what we believe and feel. It was her first time standing in front of the congregation to share her testimony. A testimony that is just blooming. I’m grateful that she has been taught by great primary leaders and teachers about the gospel. By us as her parents. And all those who have shared their testimonies with her. And that she has grasped what a testimony is. She shared of her happiness of being baptized and being a member of the true church. She thanked her daddy for baptizing her. She thanked her families and friends for the support. Expressed her love for our living Father and Savoir Jesus Christ. About the scriptures being the words of God. That Thomas S Monson is true prophet of God. I was truly touched by her testimony. And for her sweet spirit she brings into our family. It really is a special feeling to see my children share their testimony and hope and pray they will always feel inspired to share it often.
