Family Weekend..

We FINALLY decided last week that we would DEFINATELY be traveling to North Cali during Memorial weekend for niece Mariah's high school grad.  We are sooo bad at planning financially for events, trips and so forth that we thought for sure we couldn't do it.  Thank you to the man above who continues to bless our family.

We picked up our rental and off we went Thursday afternoon.  DaisyGirl was feeling sick the day before so I was a bit worried she'd have a miserable drive.  She was such a good sport and never complained or whined about anything.  I guess being occupied watching movies helped too..  I will never travel again with out a portable DVD player.  It really does make the drive alot more smooth when they are too occupied to argue or complain..

We had a good time spending it with my DH's family as well as my family.  Didn't think we'd get out to Oakland to be with my family.  My parents where out there with my sis Rissa's family visiting my other siblings.  So it all worked out.  BTW, my parents just love North Cali.  Even wanted to stay behind and forget Utah..hahaha  I won't be surprised if my parents decide to ditch us here and make a new home in Cali. 

Congrats to Ms Mariah graduating from Tracy High School.  I miss going to Cali grads in the football field.  Where you can blow your horns and throw your confetti and not get escorted out by security.  haha.  She had a huge graduating class.  Thank goodness the weather was cool.  Family and friends enjoyed a very nice grad party that evening a the Winery in Tracy.  With good food and good entertainment.  Danced the night away and enjoyed ourselves.
