....When I feel like I get most things around the house done on the sabbath. Like today. I was up early, but instead of studying the sunday school or young women lesson, I start to clean up my room. It leads to cleaning my daughters room. Then the living room. The bathrooms. The kitchen. The week is busy hectic that Sunday's is the only day we are all home and can get things done. So by the time 3 o'clock rolls around, I'm too tired and distracted to even think about church. Thats been the way for the past month.
...I was determined today (of course still had my struggles) to get the family to church. Proud we finally made it. And as we drove home from church today, I could not help but feel happy and proud that we made it. I love the spirit I felt today and the testimonies and lessons taught. I love how the spirit moves and inspires me.
...Will be praying extra extra hard that this week I can be more productive and organized that I can really enjoy the sabbath day, as it truely is meant to be. The

Your Sundays sound a lot like mine. Cleaning before or after church is no fun lol! We love your ward, there is always has such a sweet spirit. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteThat's me except it's after we get home.. I had the kids cleaning up their rooms,picking up the family and living rooms and then cleaning the kitchen... That's the way of Moms.. We just can't help it!
ReplyDeletebtw, what time is church for you anyway?? It sounds pretty late... next year I think we get 1:00 and am not happy about that all... Late church is pretty hard for me...
