2010 Little League Football Playoffs

Jeremiah played his last football game of the season today. We placed 3rd in the league. So we played 2nd place team Hillcrest to see who advances to Championship. We played them earlier in the season and lost to them. They pretty much dominated the game the whole time. I figured, well it was early in the season. Maybe this time around it’ll be different. Well it wasn’t. Hehehe. Hillcrest beat us good. Final score of 21-6. We had opportunities to score several times. But it just didn’t happen for us. I was really bummed. I really wanted this year to be a Championship year. But the other teams definitely wanted it more. We’re done for the season. Time to turn in the football equipment. And move on to the next thing. Jeremiah played a good season. He is having fun but realizes that now he needs to not only have fun but take it serious. He’s getting older and in a year or two will be playing high school ball. He can’t wait for that as there is no weight limitation on the position you play…hehehe My boy wants to be a running-back. He gave the lineman position 6 years of his life and wants to run the rock. Hahaha. If you want it, you can do it son!!!!

Foi and my newphew Iversyn’s gremlin team also played in the playoffs today. Their team was in 2nd place and played 3rd place Granger to advance to Championship. Granger has this big ol’ kid that just scared the living crap out of our team. Hehehe He stopped our running game and was a big part in their running game. Honestly, He alone won that game for them. That kid is a beast. Final score was 12-0. Not a harsh score but sad nonetheless for our lil gremlin Panthers. Great season though.  We’ll get ‘em next year guys.. Especially since that kid is moving up and playing in the older age bracket….bwahahaha.
