Try Outs

Miah and Myles have been excited for this week to come. 

They both would be trying out for the jr high basketball team.

They both would go back and forth trash talkin'...boys I tell ya.

Day 1 of tryout, there is literally 500 boys.  Ok, maybe just 50.

Of the 50 about 16 boys would actually make the team.

M & M tried there best.  Dribbling, shooting, defense, offense.

Myles is a natural with his tall height and strong built.

Miah is opposite of that but is more in shape of the two.

They went to school the following day and found they both made the first cut.

Yah..trash talking continues.  Dang these boys.

More try outs that day.  More shooting, dribbling, defense, offense.

Both feeling they did ok but weren't feeling to confident.

Next morning they would find out if they made the team.

Myles made the team.  He is excited and just on cloud 9.

My baby boi Miah does not make the team. 

Total bummer and I could tell the minute I picked him up from school.

So bummed he doesn't even want to do Jr Jazz.

Doesnt want anything to do with bball. 

He had his heart set on making the team.

Had a lil heart to heart with him. Tear tear!!

Now he can just work on his skills and get on the team next time.

Myles comes home tired and sore. 

It actually is funny cause this is my lazy nephew.

He's having a good time though

We all can't wait to go cheer him and our Legacy Lion's on.

Yes..Even Miah looks forward to cheering him on.
