Be Prepared

"If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear."

I’ve heard this scripture quoted several times this week.  And it got me thinking.. Am I prepared?

When I first heard it, we were on our way to church.  So right away I thought of my spirituality.  I am spiritually intuned that I would recognize his presence.  Am I  keeping the commandments and covenants I made with thee.  Is my home a place where his spirit dwells.   Have I done all I can to prepare to meet my Maker. 

Then I heard it again today at work.  Of all places.  Right away I thought of my family.  Am I financially prepared to take care of my families needs incase of a natural disaster, or we lose our jobs, or a death occurs in the family.  Etc… But especially thinking of my family as today my husband and son are going to a scout overniter and I did just gave them the list and left it up to them to get things ready.. :(

All these thoughts went through my mind.  And I sadly am ashamed to say I am not prepared.  I am living the unprepared life right now.  So its time for me to put some things into action and BE PREPARED..  I love when I can hear something that inspires me to get my butt moving..  J
