I sat there one day and wondered why I could read 5 million books on my kindle app, and not one of those be the scriptures. Sad isn’t it? I have always had the “gospel library” app on my iPad. Actually it was one of the very first apps I added. However, I would only use it while I’m at church. Yes, sad isn’t it? ;). I’ve gone in and updated my library. With all the scriptures, all the manuals, all the magazines, all the songs books, all things for FHE, Duty to God for my son, Faith In God for my daughter and anything I felt I need. So this week I have faithfully been reading from my ‘gospel library’ and I love it. I don’t think I’ve read through the entire Ensign in years. I love the teachings, testimonies and experiences from the leaders of the church as well as fellow members. It really has given me strength. And of course, this month’s Ensign really hit home with what I need to strengthen my home and my relations with my husband and children. I truly am blessed to have the resources I have and now I just need to get my butt into gear and truly make it apart of my life!
That's sometimes the best way to read it because when we are somewhere waiting for our kids, we can just read real quick, right? yeah right.. I'm always just playing a game on my phone!
