Spring Break...

Its spring break this week.. We had planned in advance to go visit family in Northern Cali for spring break. It had been a year or so since we’ve been out there and figured it’ll be a nice break for the kids. My husband requested his vacation and couldn’t get the same week off. So instead, he has all of next week off when the kids are back in school. I couldn't get the whole week off.  So we decided to go ahead and send them out anyway. My kids flew out yesterday with my lil bro to Frisco. Glad we were able to get passes from my FIL to send them. They had been trying their hardest to be good for the past month, complete their homework, do all their chores and just be on their best behavior so that mommy & daddy wouldn’t punish them and have them stay home. LOL. My kids deserved a lil vacay. So I’m happy the day finally came. I asked my daughter how her flight was and she said ‘squishy’. LOL!! She sat with her unko and he didn’t give her much room to stretch out.. Especially since it was one of the smaller 60 passenger Express planes.. So they are now in California.. DaisyGirl with my sis in Newark. And Miah with my BIL in Tracy. I know they are just having a grand ol’ time. Especially Bigboi.. he just don’t know how to call home. Hahha. I already could tell when talking to Babygirl that she was feeling homesick. But she promised she’d be ok and so I think she is really trying.. She always tends to feel homesick when its sleep time.. I am trying to make the best of the time I have without them. Our daily routine revolved around them and their activities. Now, Hubby and I will just enjoy it and make the best of it.. Its gonna be a long week. Guess I can start by working out with Team Sexy…hahaha.
